The Foreigner
By Larry Shue
Directed by Julie Bray
SYNOPSIS:
Shy Englishman Charlie Baker arrives at a rural fishing lodge in Georgia (USA) looking for peace and quiet. To avoid awkward conversations, his friend “Froggy” claims Charlie doesn’t speak a word of English. The plan works—until the lodge’s quirky residents start spilling secrets and hatching shady schemes right in front of him.As Charlie gets caught in a whirlwind of deception, drama, and unexpected friendships, his silence might be the key to saving the day. Larry Shue’s The Foreigner is a fast-paced comedy full of laughter, heart, and the hilarious consequences of pretending to be someone you’re not.
AUDITIONS: Thursday 24 July, 6:30pm
The Northern Busway runs directly behind the Hall, so catching a bus is a great way to get to the theatre, with many frequent buses stopping only walking distance from the hall.

Mostly comedy or light drama. However, we're always keen to try something a bit different and hope to expand our repertoire in the coming years. We have also performed foreign language shows - 2 x French language shows, and 2 x Italian language shows. These include English surtitles (translation displayed above the stage) for those who don't speak the language.

We try and do a mix of open auditions and member-only auditions, to find a balance between bringing in new faces to the group and rewarding our existing members and volunteers.
If you want to join our group to act, we will expect you to give back to the group/assist in other ways too.
Unfortunately we are not responsible for the booking and hiring of the Windsor School of Arts hall and cannot assist you with that.
